Jason Smith is a multi award winning TV commercial, Music Video and Film Director based in London and LA.
Jason grew up in countries as diverse as Sri Lanka, the Lebanon, Iran, Greece and Pakistan. After graduating with a BAhons in English and Film he sailed the Atlantic and directed his first documentary about local life in the Caribbean. His break came when he directed, produced, lit and edited a short film on Barcelona that he sold to MTV. In that same year he was nominated for New Directors of the year at Cannes and won the first of many awards for his Alain Afflelou and Puma Campaign. This was quickly followed up with a D&AD for his British Army campaign. He has since gone on to direct campaigns for clients including Nike, Coca-Cola, Audi, EA, NFL, Under Armour, Mountain Dew, Sony, Gatorade, BMW and many others. Jason now lives with his wife and his 2 children in London.
