Jonas Meier's film language moves in between the works of Wes and Roy Anderson. Even if there is a documentary approach is some of his work, his pictorial compositions never remain random.

With a strong focus on location and art direction, he creates images that can be situated between the aesthetics of a fairytale castle and a pragmatic basement. Far away from the mainstream, he creates cinematic worlds in which the greatest contrasts give rise to innovative harmonies and a unique style.
